KATY MULVANEY (Director/Autolycus, Winter's Tale; Hermia/Snug, Midsummer) is one of the co-founding members of Tailgate Shakespeare.  She is a graduate of Rice University where she served as actress, director and theater chair for the Baker Shakespeare Company, the longest continuously-running Shakespeare company in Houston, during which time she oversaw the 40th Anniversary production and gala.  She is currently pursuing a master's degree in directing from Mary Baldwin College, where she has directed Wyrd Sisters and appeared as Lavinia in Titus Andronicus, the Third Shepherd in Second Shepherd's Play, and Bottom the Weaver in a special presentation of "Pyramis and Thisbe."  She has also served as Teaching Assistant and director for the Shakespeare and Performance class of the ADVANCE Program for Young Scholars for the past for years.  This summer she will also serve as Camp Coordinator for Midsummer Day Camp and an internship with Young Company Theater Camp, both in partnership with the American Shakespeare Center.

JEFFREY CHIPS (Polixenes/Lord, Winter’s Tale; Director/Theseus, Midsummer) Jeffrey Chips is one of the co-founders of Tailgate Shakespeare. He hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he acted and directed with several companie s before moving to Virginia. Past roles include Hubert in King John, Boult in Pericles, Lucius in Titus Andronicus (MBC M.Litt/MFA Program), Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest(Duquesne University Summer Company), and Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz (Gemini Children’s Theatre). He is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Circle in the Water Theatre Company in Pittsburgh, PA and holds a B.A. in theatre from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. He would like to thank Mom, Dad, and Megan for their love and support.

LINDEN KUECK (Assistant Director/Hermione/Time, Winter's Tale; Helena/, Midsummer)

CLARA GIEBEL (Emilia/Perdita, Winter’s Tale; Assistant Director/Puck, Midsummer) Shakespeare has been a violent passion of Clara Giebel's life since she was twelve years old, when she was so moved by a performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream that she memorized Puck’s final speech in the car on the way home. Not long after she began acting with The Rochester Shakespeare Company, The Rochester Shakespeare Players, and in college she both performed with and directed The Houghton Shakespeare Players. Currently a graduate student at Mary Baldwin College, getting her masters in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature in Performance and working for the American Shakespeare Center, she looks forward to teaching and telling Shakespeare's stories for years and years to come. Previous roles include Isabella (Measure), Phoebe (As You Like It), Cordelia (Lear), Fabian (Twelfth Night) and Puck in Midsummer, which she'll play again this summer as well as Hippolyta and Mamillius, Emilia and Perdita in The Winter's Tale.

SARA GRACE LANDIS (Paulina/Clown/Mariner, Winter’s Tale; Titania/Quince, Midsummer) Sara Landis is a theatre practitioner- with actor, director, educator, writer, and dramaturg credits. Sara holds an M.Litt./MFA degree from Mary Baldwin College and a B.A. from Arcadia University.  She is also a graduate of the National Theatre Institute and the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts. Currently, Sara works for the June Bug Center, directing and administrating the 2010 summer and educational season as well as running the theatre program at Floyd County High School.  Sara has worked for more than 30 summer theatre camps, including the past 3 years at the American Shakespeare Center's Midsummer Day Camp.  She also worked as a director/counselor for Arcadia University's Camp Shakespeare for 4 years, and created more than 20 sessions of Creativity Camp for DreamWrights Youth & Family Theatre.  Sara is a member of Tailgate Shakespeare and a founding member of DreamWrights Youth & Family Theatre. Sara’s professional credits include the June Bug Center, American Shakespeare Center, Golden Duck Productions, Tailgate Shakespeare, Maryland Shakespeare Festival, and the Muhlenberg Summer Theatre Festival.She has also participated in more than 100 non-profit, community, and educational productions as an actor, director, dramaturg, writer, stage manager, and designer or technician of lights, costumes, properties, set, and sound.

AMANDA NOEL ALLEN (Camillo/Dion/Dorcas/Guard, Winter's Tale; Bottom/Oberon/Egeus, Midsummer) is pursuing and MLitt/MFA at Mary Baldwin College in partnership with the American Shakespeare Center.  She received her bachelor's degree in theatre from Pepperdine University and is a founding member of This Bride Theatre, which has toured from Phoenix to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.  She is thrilled to be a part of another company's inaugural season. Favorite past shows include: Pericles (Bawd, Philemon,Hesperides, Pirate), Wyrd Sisters (Duchess Felmet), Uncle Vanya  (Sonya), Riding to Bethlehem (Mary), Arcadia (Chloe), and Necessary Targets (Azra).  This fall she will tour to the Philadelphia Fringe Festival as Frank in The Merry Devil of Edmonton.

BRIAN FALBO (Leontes/Shepherd, Winter’s Tale; Demetrius/, Midsummer) Brian Falbo enjoys the variety of life. He began his undergraduate career at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as an electrical engineering major, then transferred into nuclear, plasma and radiological engineering and finally graduated with a B.A. in English. Currently, he is pursuing his M.Litt. and MFA in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature in Performance at Mary Baldwin College. He recently appeared as Pembroke in King John, Chiron in Titus Andronicus, and Puck in The Faerie Queen on the Blackfriars stage. He sincerely hopes that you all enjoy our The Winter’s Tale and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

PAUL TAYLOR RYCIK (Antigonus/Florizel, Winter’s Tale; Lysander/Snout, Midsummer) Paul describes himself as a theatrical “Jack Of All Trades.” Paul is an accomplished actor, singer, poet, playwright, award-winning dramaturg, and filmmaker. Paul graduated from Ashland University in 2007, with a B.A. in General Theatre, and a double minor in Music and Radio/Television Production. He also received training in voice, movement, and stage combat at the Shakespeare And Company Summer Training Institute in Lennox MA. Paul is currently working on a Master of Fine Arts in Shakespeare and Renaissance in Performance from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton VA. Some of Paul’s favorite acting roles include Macbeth, Frederick in “Pirates Of Penzance,” and the Narrator in “Into the Woods.” Paul is a member of the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD), and is certified in unarmed combat. In addition to acting, Paul has sung with the Ashland Symphony Orchestra, the Madrigal Singers, The Opera Workshop, and the Drop of A Hat Players. Paul received distinctive honors in the field of dramaturgy (theatre research). In 2006, Paul received first place at the American College Theatre Festival’s dramaturgy awards for his work on “Romeo and Juliet.” Paul became a finalist for the national dramaturgy award in Washington DC. Paul continues to be an active member of the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs Association (LMDA). Paul has lectured on Shakespeare professionally in Floyd County VA and OSU Mansfield, and is a member of the Ohio Educational Theatre Association. Paul’s other great passion is videography. He has produced several educational videos on Shakespeare and the Globe Theatre (available on youtube.com). Paul is also a creator of personalized family video and wedding DVDs. Paul is pleased to be able to continue his theatrical career with the June Bug, especially alongside his lovely girlfriend, Sara Landis.
